Artist: Andrew Cross of super8

Aren't these paintings just darling! Since it was just my bday I'm especially liking the dog poo birthday and the little kitty with the cake. Cute! These paintings/illustrations were created by Andrew Cross (super8). Check out his website here for more and be sure to check out the animation section for more lovelies.

Firekites, Autumn Story - chalk animation

This animated music video is so beautiful I can hardly stand it. It's from Firekites' album 'The Bowery'. The music video is co-directed by Yanni Kronenberg and Lucinda Schreiber. Check it out, I bet you'll love it just as much as I do. Found via Free People.

Artist: Brigette Barrager

Aren't these images super fun. They are by animation character designer and developer Brigette Barrager. I love those kitties in the trees hunting the little orange birdie. So cute! Check out Brigette's blog, portfolio, and etsy shop. She sells prints of these lovelies.

Artist: Hine Mizushima

Hine Mizushima is a crafter/illustrator/animator. I was looking at her etsy site today and fell in love with her camera camera cases and her fun illustrations made of bright cut paper. Here is her etsy, blog, flickr, website. Hine was also commissioned by They Might Be Giants to do a music video of thier song "With the Dark." How awesome is that!

Bravia's New commercial BUNNIES!

Sony Bravia's new commercial is out, YEA! It is of a bunch of bunnies hopping through NYC, and they were all done through stop-motion animation with playdoh!!! That means that each bunny had to be moved by hand about 15 - 30 times a second. This is a MUST SEE! You can see it on the bravia site, or here at Creativity Online where they play it a little larger.

Artist: Julia Pott

Saw this cute animation by Julia Pott the other night and thought it was so cute and nice. Definitely worth a look. I did something similar in school with real audio of kids (here's the link). Julia's audio is so touching and her characters are uber cute. Love it! Oh, and I'm testing out the video feature on my blog. Woo hoo. By the way her art/illustration portfolio is purty neat too.
