Caged birdies and not caged birdies. These are hand pulled woodblock prints by Rick and Brenda Beerhorst of Studio Beerhorst. Carving and printing with woodblocks is on my to do list of things to try out. Unfortunately, that list is pretty long. Sigh. oh, I LOVE these. I have started doing a *few* linocut projects, someday when I'm brave I'll try woodcut. I love seeing the designs other people do. Have you tried doing any woodcuts yourself? I'd like to see them if so.
