MY FABRIC'S HERE!!!!

My first printed fabric came in the mail today from the wonderful Spoonflower.com. YAY! Super exciting! I love how it turned out. Now I just have to figure out what to make out of it. I didn't have anything in mind, I just wanted to make fabric. Check out Spoonflower here.

Artist: Stacey Rees of Wallnut

I love these ink and watercolor paintings by Stacey Rees of Wallnut. They're so delicate but still bold. The coral pink with the black is so pretty. See more at the Wallnut etsy shop and on Stacey's flickr page.

Artist: Rowena Dugdale of Red Ruby Rose

I love these clutches by Rowena Dugdale of Red Ruby Rose. Her fabric choices are just so beautiful. My fav is the poppy in the first pic, but that lily of the valley one is screaming at me to touch it. The fabric just looks so wonderful. Check out many many more in the Red Ruby Rose etsy store. Rowena also has some pretty wonderful photographs for sale in her other etsy store Polaroids and Pinholes.

Fishy pattern

Just thought I'd do a quick little post to show you my fishy pattern that I made the other day. My parents have a pond at their house that has a bunch of trout in it. When you throw food into the water, all at once the fish jump out of the water to get the food. It's crazy. So that's what this pattern is about. I'm working on a series of patterns that focus around the pond so I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Artist: Mimi Kirchner, cute pin cushions!

I was browsing the pics over at the wonderful Mimi Kirchner's flickr page, and look at the cuteness I found! Tiny little pin cushion worlds. Mimi will be selling them at Boston Handmade later this month. So all you Bostonians will have to make sure and snatch them up. Lucky ducks.
