Dog mono prints that I did while I was in school. They were resurrected when we were working on the Studio Collective website and I thought I'd share. So easy and inexpensive, get some Plexiglas and some ink and that's it. I did the dog drawing then traced parts of it with an awl onto the plexi. Then inked the plexi and wiped off areas that I didn't want printed. I pressed it onto paper with an actual press when I did these but I'm thinking I could do the same with some sort of roller. I'm thinking about reproducing these as a series of prints but I'm not sure yet.
you can use a rubber breyer and print it by hand -- it works fine
ReplyDeleteyes! It definitely works fine with just a rubber brayer, I had to resort to that due to COVID-19 lockdowns restricting my access to the printing press. Your prints a beautiful by the way, you should definitely make more.
