Artist: Barry of fishfanatic
I'm loving these Gyotaku prints by Barry Singer of fishfanatic. Gyotaku prints are prints or rubbings made by putting pigment onto a fish and making a print directly from the fish. In ancient Japan, the purpose of these prints were to record how large a fish was caught. I'll be headed to my parents in a week or so, and I think I'm going to give this a try with some of the fish from their trout pond. I'm excited to see how it goes.
